The ASUS ROG Phone 8 Ultimate has made an appearance on Geekbench, providing some valuable insights into what could be ASUS’ next flagship gaming smartphone.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Geekbench listing gives us an early glimpse into its hardware capabilities.
According to the Geekbench listing, the phone carries the model number ASUS_AI2401_A.
It features an octa-core processor with a 1+5+2 CPU architecture.
This is speculated to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, set for launch next month.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 geekbench data also reveals a score of 2,213 points in the single-core test and 7,408 points in the multi-core test.
Per usual the device is expected to run on Android 14 out of the box.
Alongside this, the phone will feature at least one variant with 16GB of RAM.
These details from the Asus ROG Phone 8 Geekbench listing align well with expectations for a premium gaming smartphone.
While the launch of the ROG Phone 8 lineup is still some time away, the ASUS_AI2401_A model number is also associated with the vanilla ROG Phone 8.
