Asus has announced the launch date for its upcoming ROG gaming smartphone – the Asus ROG Phone 7.
The company took to social media channels to announce that the Asus ROG Phone 7 will make its debut on April 13 in the Indian market.
Alongside India, the Asus ROG Phone 7 will launch in Taipei, Berlin, and New York on the same day.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 is the upcoming gaming smartphone from the brand. The upcoming ROG series smartphone has already been spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database.
Taiwanese tech giant ASUS has confirmed that it will unveil the upcoming gaming smartphone – ASUS ROG Phone 7 – globally and in India on April 13th.
The smartphone will be launched as a successor to the ASUS ROG Phone 6, which was launched in India last year in July. According to the company’s India Twitter handle, the smartphone will be launched simultaneously in other countries as well on the same date.
As per the benchmark listing, the Asus ROG Phone 7 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

On Twitter, the company revealed that the gaming smartphone is coming to India on April 13th at 5:30 pm (IST) in the evening.
The company also confirmed that the ASUS ROG Phone 7 would be launched in Taipei, Berlin, and New York on the same date. The phone launch will be live-streamed on the official ASUS ROG website.
It will likely run on Android 13 out of the box. With the aforementioned hardware powering it, the ASUS ROG Phone 7 was able to get 1,958 points on the single-core test and 5,238 points on the multi-core test.
As far as other specifications are concerned, the ASUS ROG Phone 7 will offer a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED touchscreen display with a super smooth 165Hz refresh rate and a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
However, it should be noted that none of these features have been confirmed by the company yet, and we will have to wait till the official launch to get the confirmed specifications.

The Asus ROG Phone 7 was spotted on China’s TENAA certification website which revealed some of its key specifications.
As per the TENAA listing, the Asus ROG Phone 7 will be equipped with a 5850mAH battery unit.
Asus might market it as a 6000mAh battery. This means that in terms of battery size, the Asus ROG Phone 7 won’t be any different from its predecessor. To those unaware, the Asus ROG Phone 6 comes equipped with a 6000mAH battery.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 has already cleared 3C certification. The 3C certification listing for the gaming-focused smartphone revealed support for 65W fast charging, which is the same as its predecessor.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 is expected to offer a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. Its predecessor -ROG Phone 6 offered a 165Hz AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution.
