Apple might just be looking to enhance the integration between its Reminders and Calendar apps.
The information comes from AppleInsider, which has claimed that these improvements are expected to arrive with iOS 18 and macOS 15 later this year.
As per the report Apple devices will soon be getting the ability to schedule and organize reminders directly within the Calendar app itself, eliminating the need to switch between separate apps.
Users will reportedly be able to set reminders with specific dates, times, locations, and priority levels, all from the familiar Calendar interface.
To make matters even simpler, these reminders are said to be visible across the Day, Week, and Month calendar views, providing a consolidated overview of upcoming tasks and events.
As mentioned above. the tighter integration between Reminders and Calendar is reportedly not limited to iOS but also makes its way macOS 15.
Apple would very much want a cohesive experience for Apple users who rely on both iPhone and Mac devices for their productivity needs.
While details are still emerging, these enhancements to Reminders and Calendar seem squarely focused on helping users stay organized and on top of their commitments more efficiently.
As with any rumour, it’s important to treat this information with a degree of skepticism until official announcements from Apple.
Even so, it has to be said that these reported changes do in fact align with the company’s ongoing efforts to refine its software and enhance productivity capabilities.
