The Amazfit Active 2 Square has surfaced online ahead of its official launch. Thanks to early listings on Walmart and Celcom Mexico, now we have a good look at its design and key specs. The smartwatch is expected to launch in June 2025. Before that, here’s what we know about the device based on recent leaks.

According to early listings, the Active 2 Square Premium model will feature a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 450. It sports a stainless steel bezel, sapphire crystal glass for added screen protection and two physical buttons.
It also comes bundled with two straps, one leather and one silicone. The watch measures 43.2 x 36.9 x 9 mm and weighs just 31.4 grams.
Inside, the watch is likely to include the same BioTracker 6.0 PPG biometric sensor found in the round Active 2 Premium. It will support over 160 sports modes and use Amazfit’s PulsePrecision heart rate tracking algorithm.

The battery is rated at 260 mAh, and Amazfit claims it can last up to five days even with heavy usage.
It’s still unclear whether the watch will include NFC support for contactless payments. There’s also no confirmation yet on whether a standard (non-Premium) version of the Active 2 Square will be launched alongside this one.
Hints about this Square variant first emerged when the round model was referred to as “Active 2 (Round)” and later when the Square version briefly appeared on a Zepp security page.
Global pricing hasn’t been announced yet. For reference, the round Amazfit Active 2 Premium is currently listed at $129.99 on Amazon.
