If recent reports are to be believed, Vivo could soon expand V80 smartphone lineup with a new model named the Vivo V80 FE 5G. The report comes from leaked images from a private brand event in the Philippines that show presentation slides confirming that the smartphone is coming soon. Vivo, however, has not officially announced the launch date, details or even mentioned the model name publicly yet.
The smartphone is expected to sit alongside the Vivo V80 5G, which is already available in India. Here is what we know so far.
Vivo V80 FE 5G Specifications Leaked Ahead of India Launch
The leaked presentation slides from private Vivo event indicate that the Vivo V80 FE 5G will launch soon.
The Vivo V80 FE 5G is expected to feature a punch-hole display with a 1.5K resolution but the exact screen size and refresh rate have not been revealed yet. Leaked images suggest that the phone will have a rear design similar to the Vivo V80 5G including a floating-style camera module. However, it is expected to feature two rear cameras instead of the triple-camera setup found on the standard model.
The camera module also appears to include an Aura Ring light positioned opposite the camera lenses along with ZEISS branding.
According to the leaked information, the phone will feature a 50-megapixel ZEISS camera system on the rear.
The setup is expected to also include a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies and video calls, it is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel front camera. Both the front and rear cameras are reportedly capable of recording videos in 4K resolution.
The upcoming smartphone is tipped to pack a 7,000mAh battery in the global market and is expected to support 90W FlashCharge fast charging.
