Caviar has introduced its latest Black Edition collection featuring heavily customised versions of Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and foldable iPhone Duo. The new lineup focuses on an all-black look with two special models taking the customisation further by completely removing the camera modules.
Caviar Black Edition Design and Camera-Free Models
The collection is available in several different designs but the Supersonic iPhone 18 Pro and Ultimate iPhone Duo are the most unusual options. Both models remove the rear camera bumps completely and replace them with a flat, uninterrupted panel made from aerospace-grade titanium.
Caviar has also removed the front-facing cameras at the hardware level on these two models.
With the camera hardware removed, the rear panel has a completely flat metal finish. The Supersonic iPhone 18 Pro gets a satin finish designed to reduce reflections, while the Ultimate iPhone Duo uses vertical brushing that can appear black or graphite depending on the lighting. Both phones also feature a flush black Apple logo that blends into the body.
Why Did Caviar Remove the Cameras?
According to the company, the camera-free versions are designed for people working in secure corporate or government environments where camera-equipped devices are not allowed.
By physically removing both the rear and front cameras, the Supersonic iPhone 18 Pro and Ultimate iPhone Duo are designed for such restricted environments.
Other Caviar Black Edition Models Keep the Cameras
Users who still want to take photos can choose from four other models in the collection, Versus, Titanium, Signature and Prestige. These versions retain the standard Apple camera hardware but replace the original glass rear panels with premium materials.
The designs use materials including black crocodile leather, exposed titanium screws and 999-fine gold plating. The Signature and Prestige editions also feature V-shaped gold inserts that stand out against their black leather and metal finishes.
Rather than using bright colours, Caviar has focused mainly on different materials and textures to create the visual differences between the models.
No Changes to Internal Hardware
Despite the extensive exterior modifications, Caviar has not changed the internal processing hardware, battery or software of the base iPhones.
This means buyers are essentially paying for the custom chassis and limited production run, rather than upgraded internal specifications.
Caviar Black Edition Price and Availability
Caviar will produce only 19 units of each model, making the collection highly limited.
Prices for the iPhone 18 Pro models start at $10,560 for the leather-backed Versus edition and go up to $10,770 for the camera-free Supersonic version.
The foldable iPhone Duo editions are more expensive. The Titanium version starts at $13,410, while the camera-free Ultimate edition costs up to $13,990.
Each device comes packaged in a custom lockable box and includes a gold-plated commemorative coin.
