Vivo X500 Pro has received a new certification in Thailand ahead of its global launch. Tipster Anvin has revealed on X that the smartphone has been approved by Thailand’s NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission), which hints that Vivo is preparing to bring the device to more international markets. According to details shared by the tipster in a recent post, Vivo X500 Pro carries the model number V2621 in the NBTC listing. The certification confirms support for GSM, WCDMA, LTE and NR networks, meaning the phone will support 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G connectivity.
The certification does not reveal additional specifications, pricing or the exact Thai launch date.
An NBTC certification is also an important requirement before any smartphone goes on sale in Thailand. While it does not confirm an exact local launch date, the latest listing suggests that the Vivo X500 Pro could arrive in the Thai market soon.

The latest development comes after the Vivo X500 series debuted in China. The lineup includes the Vivo X500 Pro Max, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500.
Vivo X500 Pro Specifications
The Chinese version of the Vivo X500 Pro features a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel uses a BOE Q11 display and is rated to deliver up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness.
For photography, the smartphone comes with a custom 50-megapixel main camera with a 24mm equivalent focal length. It uses Sony’s LYTIA L910 sensor with a 1/1.28-inch sensor size, which was co-developed with Vivo. The camera also gets Zeiss T* coating and has an f/1.57 fixed aperture, with a claimed dynamic range of 17 EV.
The Vivo X500 Pro is powered by a 6,510mAh battery and supports 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. The phone also has IP68 and IP69 ingress protection and runs OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. It is available in white, grey, black and orange colour options in China.
Vivo X500 Series Global Launch
Vivo has already confirmed the international launch timeline for the X500 series. A dedicated microsite on the company’s Austria website confirms that the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max will launch in the European Union on October 27 at 4pm CET (8:30pm IST).
Pre-orders for all three models will open in the EU on the same day as the launch. The phones are scheduled to go on sale in the region from November 5.
The latest Thailand NBTC certification adds another indication that Vivo is preparing the X500 Pro for markets outside China. However, Vivo has not yet confirmed the Thai launch date or pricing.
