Following the launch of the Redmi M100 in China, Redmi appears to be working on another smartphone for its new M-series lineup. The Redmi M100 Pro has reportedly been spotted in Xiaomi’s software database, suggesting that the company could be preparing to introduce the device in China.
According to tipster Kacper Skrzypek, the upcoming smartphone could be a China-exclusive rebranded version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. Redmi recently followed a similar strategy with the Redmi M100, which was launched in China as a rebranded version of the global Redmi 17 5G.

According to the tipster, the Redmi M100 Pro has been identified in Xiaomi’s software database, where the listing mentions both the Redmi Note 14 Pro and “Redmi M100Pro” under the “malachite” codename.
The listing suggests that the Redmi M100 Pro could share its hardware with the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. While the database appearance does not confirm the final specifications, it indicates that Redmi could be planning another M-series smartphone for the Chinese market.
The development also points towards Redmi potentially expanding the M-series beyond the recently launched Redmi M100.
Redmi M100 Pro Expected Specifications
The Redmi M100 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel could also support up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness and HDR10+.
For protection, the smartphone could feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. An in-display fingerprint sensor is also expected, while the phone could run Xiaomi’s HyperOS software.
Under the hood, the Redmi M100 Pro could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G is available with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, although the exact RAM and storage configurations of the Redmi M100 Pro have not been confirmed yet.
For photography, the smartphone is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
For selfies and video calls, the device could feature a 20-megapixel front camera.
The Redmi M100 Pro is also expected to pack a 5,110mAh battery with 45W wired charging. The smartphone could additionally come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Redmi M100 Pro Launch: What We Know So Far
The Redmi M100 Pro has not yet been officially announced by Redmi, and the company has not revealed a launch date for the smartphone.
Details regarding its pricing, RAM and storage variants and colour options are also currently unavailable. Redmi has also not confirmed whether the M100 Pro will retain the same specifications as the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G.
While the software database listing points towards a connection between the two smartphones, the final commercial version could feature changes to its memory configurations, software or hardware.
With the Redmi M100 launched in China only recently, the Redmi M100 Pro could become the second smartphone in the company’s new M-series lineup for the market. More details are expected to emerge as the device moves closer to its official launch.
