OPPO has officially launched its new A7 Pro series in Malaysia. The lineup includes two smartphones, the OPPO A7 Pro 5G and OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G. Both models come with the same specifications as their respective Chinese versions. Here are the details of the newly launched OPPO smartphones, including their prices and specifications.
OPPO A7 Pro and OPPO A7 Pro Max – Price and Availability

The OPPO A7 Pro 5G starts at RM1,699 in Malaysia for the 6GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Its 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version is priced at RM1,899.
The OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G is available in a single configuration with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It has been priced at RM2,499 in Malaysia.
Will OPPO A7 Pro Series Launch in India?
The same two smartphones are also expected to arrive in India based on previous leaks and rumours. Reports suggest that the OPPO A7 Pro 5G and A7 Pro Max 5G could be launched in India as part of the OPPO F35 series. The reported starting prices are INR 40,000 for one model and INR 45,000 for the other.
However, OPPO has not yet officially revealed details about the India launch including the launch date, pricing or specifications for the Indian market.

The OPPO A7 Pro 5G features a 6.57-inch flexible AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. The panel supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, touch sampling of up to 240Hz and up to 1,400 nits of HBM brightness. It is a 10-bit display with 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage and gets Crystal Guard glass for protection.
In terms of design, the OPPO A7 Pro 5G measures around 8.80mm in thickness and weighs approximately 205g. It is available in Bloom Pink, Shine Titanium and Surfing Blue colour options.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max processor paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone also supports expandable storage.
A large 8,000mAh battery powers the smartphone and supports 45W SUPERVOOC and 45W UFCS charging. The phone runs ColorOS 16 and features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
For photography, the OPPO A7 Pro 5G has a 50-megapixel primary rear camera accompanied by a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. On the front, it gets a 50-megapixel autofocus camera for selfies.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, OTG, NFC depending on the region and dual Nano-SIM support.

The OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G comes with a larger 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED display. It has a resolution of 2772 × 1272 pixels and supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display can reach up to 1,800 nits of HBM brightness and offers 10-bit colour depth along with 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. Like the standard model, it also gets Crystal Guard glass for protection.
The OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G measures approximately 8.57mm in thickness and weighs up to 226g. It comes in Lunar Black and Surfing Blue colour options.
The A7 Pro Max 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor with an Adreno 629 GPU. It is offered with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Unlike the A7 Pro 5G, there is no support for expandable storage.
The OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G packs a 10,000mAh battery and supports 80W SUPERVOOC and 80W UFCS charging. It also supports charging at up to 55W PPS, 44W third-party UFCS, 13.5W PD and 13.5W QC.
For cameras, the phone features a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor with two-axis OIS along with a 2-megapixel monochrome camera. It also has a 50-megapixel front camera with a 100-degree field of view for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone runs ColorOS 16 and features an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. Its connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB Type-C, OTG and an infrared remote control. Select carriers will also provide eSIM support.
