The smartphone is powered by Samsung’s in-house 2nm Exynos 2600 chipset with its prime core running at up to 3.9GHz. The phone comes with 12GB RAM as standard and is available with 256GB and 512GB storage options. Samsung has also repositioned the vapour chamber towards the edges of the chip, which it says improves heat dissipation by 29 percent.

It comes with a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel primary wide-angle camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture, OIS and 3x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree field of view. For selfies, there is a 12-megapixel wide-angle front camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 26mm focal length. The rear cameras can record 8K video at 24/30fps and 4K video at 30/60fps.

The Galaxy S26 packs a 4,300mAh lithium-ion battery, which is larger than the 4,000mAh battery on last year’s Galaxy S25. The battery supports 25W wired charging as well as wireless charging.

The phone measures 149.6×71.7×7.2mm and weighs 167 grams. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, Glonass, Galileo, GPS, QZSS and a USB Type-C port.
