OPPO A7 Pro and A7 Pro Max – What Else We Know?

Both smartphones have previously appeared on the Geekbench database, giving us some early information about their expected international hardware.

The global OPPO A7 Pro carries the model number CPH2931 and is listed with the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset. The Chinese version uses the same processor. Meanwhile, the global A7 Pro Max has the model number CPH2909 and is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, matching its Chinese counterpart.

Both Geekbench-tested devices had 8GB of RAM and ran Android 16. This suggests that Android 16 could be the software version used when the phones launch internationally.

In China, the OPPO A7 Pro comes with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display offering a 1080 x 2372-pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness. It has 256GB of storage and a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with OIS, along with an 8-megapixel front camera. The phone is powered by an 8,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging.

The A7 Pro Max, on the other hand, is the larger model of the two. Its Chinese version features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1272 x 2772-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Storage options include 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.

For photography, the phone has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera. It packs an even larger 10,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging.
