The Vivo S2 5G appears to be inching closer to its India debut as a fresh leak has revealed what seem to be the smartphone’s official renders. According to an exclusive report by Passionategeekz, the leaked renders showcase the Vivo S2 5G in three colour options. These are reportedly named Sapphire Blue, Regal Bronze and Silk White and provide a closer look at the handset’s design.
The Vivo S2 5G is shown with a curved display featuring curved edges, giving it a premium appearance. On the rear, the phone sports two horizontally positioned camera sensors in the upper-left corner, accompanied by a circular flash module.
The Vivo branding is placed near the bottom of the back panel, while the rear panel has a smooth finish.
Vivo S2 5G Specifications (Expected)
As per the leaked information obtained by Passionategeekz, the Vivo S2 5G is expected to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
For photography, the handset is said to include a 50-megapixel primary rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, it is expected to house a 32-megapixel selfie camera for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone is also tipped to pack a 7,050mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge support, making it one of the phones with the largest battery capacities in its segment.
In terms of durability, the Vivo S2 5G is expected to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. It is also said to support USB Reverse Charging that allows users to charge compatible accessories directly using the smartphone.
Vivo S2 5G Price in India (Leaked)
The leak also reveals the expected pricing of the upcoming Vivo S2 5G in India. The 8GB + 128GB variant is tipped to be priced at ₹51,999, while the 8GB + 256GB model could cost ₹55,999.
The leaked prices are said to be exclusive of bank offers and launch discounts. Vivo is expected to announce introductory offers during the official launch, which could reduce the effective purchase price of the smartphone.
