This week, the Indian smartphone market is gearing up for several new launches across different price segments. From OnePlus’ upcoming budget offering to Samsung’s latest M-series smartphone and OPPO’s premium mid-range Reno 16 lineup, buyers will have multiple options to choose from. Here’s a look at the smartphones launching in India this week along with their launch dates and expected specifications.
Samsung Galaxy M47 – Launch On June 29

Samsung Galaxy M47 is all set to launch on June 29. The handset has already been confirmed as an Amazon-exclusive model and will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Although Samsung is yet to reveal the complete specifications, several key details have already been confirmed.
The Samsung Galaxy M47 will feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The display is expected to offer good brightness levels along with smooth scrolling and gaming performance.
One of the biggest highlights of the smartphone will be its software support. Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy M47 will receive six Android OS upgrades along with six years of security updates, making it one of the best-supported smartphones in its segment.
For photography, the handset is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it could house a 12MP selfie camera placed inside a punch-hole cutout. The phone is also expected to support up to 4K video recording.
Other confirmed features include 45W fast charging and bypass charging support.
Official teasers have also revealed a flat-edge design along with two colour options named Rogue Red and Blaze Blue.
OnePlus N6 – Launching on June 30

OnePlus is set to expand its budget smartphone lineup with the launch of the OnePlus N6 on June 30. The device is expected to be priced between Rs 18,000 and Rs 25,000 and will focus heavily on battery life.
The biggest highlight of the OnePlus N6 will be its massive 8,000mAh battery, which will support 45W fast charging. The smartphone is expected to ship with Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 out of the box.
According to its alleged Geekbench listing, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. The design has already been showcased, revealing flat edges and a squarish rear camera module.
The smartphone is also expected to feature dual rear cameras led by a 50MP primary sensor. It will reportedly be offered in black and green colour options. OnePlus has also promised smooth performance for up to five years.
OPPO Reno 16 – Launching on July 2
OPPO Reno 16.
OPPO will introduce the Oppo Reno 16 in India on July 2. Official images reveal a new 3D design on the rear panel, while the phone will feature an aluminium frame along with Splash Touch and Glove Touch technologies. The Reno 16 is also claimed to offer IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, making it resistant to dust and even high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.
The OPPO Reno 16 will sport a 6.32-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits peak brightness. Its compact display size is expected to make one-handed usage easier while still delivering a smooth viewing experience.
The smartphone will also introduce OPPO’s new AI Snap Key, which provides quick access to AI-powered features and MindSpace.
For cameras, the Reno 16 is confirmed to feature a triple 50MP rear camera setup along with a 50MP front-facing camera. The handset is expected to run ColorOS 16 out of the box. In terms of design, it closely resembles the Reno 15 with its squarish camera module.
The OPPO Reno 16 will be available in Starry White, Twilight Violet, and Stellar Purple colour options.
OPPO Reno 16c – Launching on July 2

Joining the Reno 16 on July 2 will be the more affordable OPPO Reno 16c. While it will be positioned below the standard model, it will share several key features including its design, camera setup, and durability ratings.
The OPPO Reno 16c will feature a larger 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with up to 1,400 nits peak brightness. Similar to the Reno 16, it will come with an aerospace-grade aluminium frame as well as Splash Touch and Glove Touch support.
For photography, the smartphone will offer a triple 50MP rear camera setup along with a 50MP selfie camera. It will also carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications for enhanced durability.
OPPO has not announced the pricing of the Reno 16c yet.
Alongside the Reno 16 series, OPPO will also introduce the OPPO Bubble, a magnetic accessory that attaches to the back of compatible smartphones. It features a 1.73-inch circular AMOLED display and can function as both a camera viewfinder and a remote shutter making selfies and group photos more convenient.
The accessory supports Bluetooth connectivity with a range of up to 10 metres and also offers custom wallpapers and interactive pets. It packs a 550mAh battery and carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. While it is a niche accessory, it could appeal to users who frequently use their smartphone cameras.
