Why Oppo Is Increasing  Prices?

While OPPO has not officially disclosed the reason behind the latest price revision, smartphone manufacturers are now typically increasing prices due to several factors. These mainly include rising component costs such as memory chips.

Consumers planning to purchase any of the affected OPPO smartphones may now need to pay the revised prices, which are higher by up to Rs 3,000 depending on the model and variant.

Should You Still Consider These OPPO Phones After the Price Hike?

The Oppo A6 and A6 Pro share several key specifications including a massive 7,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, and a 120Hz display. The F33 sits a step above with a 120Hz AMOLED screen, the newer Dimensity 6360 Max processor and support for 80W fast charging.

With the latest price revision now in effect, potential buyers may want to compare them against competing options in the same price bracket. Smartphones such as the iQOO Z11x, POCO M8, and Realme P4 series could be a good alternative.

Oppo F33 continues to offer the most well-rounded package thanks to its AMOLED display, long battery life, fast charging capabilities, and robust durability credentials. However, with the top-end variant now priced close to Rs 40,000, it enters a highly competitive segment where alternatives such as the OnePlus Nord CE 6, Motorola Edge 70 Pro and Redmi Turbo 5.

All in all, the OPPO lineup still remains a compelling choice for users who prioritise battery backup and durability above everything else.
