Redmi Turbo 5 – Price and Availability
The Redmi Turbo 5 is now available for purchase through Mi.com, Amazon India and Xiaomi Retail stores across the country.
Buyers can choose between two storage variants. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model carries a retail price of Rs 37,999, while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version is priced at Rs 40,999.
Xiaomi is also offering an instant bank discount of Rs 2,000 on both variants, bringing the effective prices down to Rs 35,999 and Rs 38,999, respectively.
The company has also confirmed that LPDDR5X Ultra memory is available on the 12GB RAM variant.
As for colours, Redmi Turbo 5 is offered in three colour options named Turbo White, Nitro Blue, and Asphalt Black.
Redmi Turbo 5 – Key Features
The Redmi Turbo 5 features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,268 × 2,756 pixels. The 12-bit panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 460ppi pixel density, up to 3,500 nits peak brightness, 68.7 billion colours, Dolby Vision, 2,560Hz instant touch sampling rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and 3,840Hz PWM dimming. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor clocked at up to 3.4GHz. It is paired with an ARM Mali-G720 MC8 GPU, LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. Xiaomi claims the device has achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 23 lakh points. For heat management, the phone features a 3D Ice-Loop Cooling system with a 5,300 sq mm heat dissipation area.
The phone runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and comes with a promise of four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
For photography, the Redmi Turbo 5 comes with a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and electronic image stabilisation (EIS), along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
