Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo X Fold 6 in China on June 26. Ahead of its official debut, the foldable smartphone has already appeared for pre-orders across several Chinese retail platforms. The latest update to its JD.com listing has revealed the device’s RAM and storage configurations along with its colour options.

In addition, Vivo has released a new teaser video showcasing the phone’s design, productivity features and support for a telephoto converter accessory.

According to the updated listing, the Vivo X Fold 6 will be available in four colour options. These include Blue Cave, Salt Lake, Polar Night, and Black Gold Edition.

Buyers will be able to choose from four storage variants including 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. Notably, the Black Gold Edition will be exclusive to the top-end 16GB + 1TB model.

Alongside the teaser video, Vivo has also shared several new promotional images on Weibo. The 4K promotional video and high-resolution renders offer a detailed look at the foldable smartphone ahead of its official unveiling.

Vivo X Fold 6 – Specifications (Expected)

Vivo X Fold 6 is confirmed to be powered by the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. The brand has also revealed that the device will feature a 200-megapixel primary rear camera along with a Sony LYT-602 periscope telephoto camera.

Reports suggest that the camera system will also include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. For enhanced photography performance, the foldable will be equipped with Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip. The device is also set to become Vivo’s first foldable smartphone with support for a telephoto extender attachment. Moreover, it will support the G2 teleconverter with up to a 200mm focal length.

The Vivo X Fold 6 is expected to feature an 8.02-inch foldable inner display that uses Samsung M14 emissive material. Both the internal and external screens are tipped to deliver up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness.

Battery capacity is also expected to see a significant upgrade with reports claiming the device will pack a massive 6,900mAh battery. Similar to its predecessor, the foldable is also expected to support wireless charging.

The smartphone will run AI-enhanced OriginOS 6 Fold designed to provide a seamless multitasking experience. Users are expected to be able to run and manage up to five apps simultaneously on a single screen. For security, the device will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
