Samsung has announced its latest Odyssey G7 (G75F) monitors at Gamescom 2025 in Germany, running from August 20 to 24. Alongside the launch, the company is expanding its glasses-free 3D gaming ecosystem and highlighting its Odyssey OLED lineup in collaboration with major studios. The refreshed Odyssey G7 series introduces two new models, a 37-inch 4K UHD (3840 × 2160, 16:9) display and Samsung’s first-ever 40-inch Wide UHD (5120 × 2160, 21:9) monitor. Both feature VA panels with 1000R curvature, a 1ms (GtG) response time, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

The 37-inch model offers a 165Hz refresh rate, while the 40-inch model raises it to 180Hz. Both monitors deliver 350 nits brightness, VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, and HDR10+ Gaming support.

Connectivity options include one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports, along with a USB hub (1 upstream, 2 downstream). Multitasking features such as Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture are included, alongside usability tools like CoreSync and Auto Source Switch+. The ergonomic stands support tilt, swivel, and height adjustments.

The new G7 models are already available in Korea and the U.S., priced at $899.99 for the 37-inch version and $1,199.99 for the 40-inch. A European release is planned for September. Visitors at Gamescom can try the monitors firsthand by playing Genshin Impact at Samsung’s booth in Hall 9.

Samsung is also showcasing the Odyssey 3D (G90XF), which supports glasses-free 3D gaming with adjustable focal distance and depth settings. The Odyssey 3D Hub already supports over 25 games and is expected to surpass 50 titles by the end of the year.

Upcoming additions include Lies of P: Overture, Mongil: Star Dive, Stellar Blade, and The First Berserker: Khazan.

OLED Collaborations

The company is partnering with leading game developers such as Blizzard and Pearl Abyss to present its Odyssey OLED monitors at the event. Featured displays include the 500Hz Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF) and the 4K 240Hz Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF).

At the World of Warcraft booth, over 80 Odyssey OLED G6 monitors are being used to showcase the game’s new housing systems.

Meanwhile, Pearl Abyss is demonstrating its highly anticipated title Crimson Desert on around 180 Odyssey OLED G6 and G8 units. These large-scale setups allow gamers to experience high-quality visuals on Samsung’s flagship displays.
