OnePlus has officially confirmed that the OnePlus Pad 3 will launch globally on June 5. If you’re wondering about the specs and what the tablet offers overall, the good news is we already know a lot about the device. It is because the tablet is already available in China as the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro.

For the global market, OnePlus is renaming it to Pad 3 and giving it some software upgrades. The design has also been tweaked. The centre camera is gone and now there’s a flatter frame around the sides, giving it a more modern look.

But what really stands out is what’s happening on the software side.

OnePlus says the new tablet will deliver “next-level multitasking” thanks to an upgraded version of its Open Canvas feature. Open Canvas, which first appeared on the OnePlus Open in 2023, is already one of the better multitasking tools on Android, and now it’s coming to more devices including tablets and phones.

Another big addition is something OnePlus calls “seamless iOS syncing.” While there aren’t many details yet, this is likely tied to the O+ Connect app developed by OnePlus and Oppo. That app allows for wireless file sharing, Mac screen mirroring and more across devices, which means syncing your iPhone or Mac with the tablet might be easier than ever.

OnePlus Pad 3 – What To Expect?

As for hardware, the OnePlus Pad 3 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Elite” chip and features a 13.2-inch LCD with a 2400×3392 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It runs on Android 15 and comes with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of storage.

You also get a 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera and a 12,140mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging.

On its website, OnePlus is already teasing some launch offers. There’s a $30 discount, a trade-in program and even a sweepstakes where you could win a free OnePlus 13R.

You can also pay just €1 now to lock in a €99.99 discount for when the tablet officially goes on sale. That early access offer also includes a €50 coupon and a gift code for the OnePlus SuperVOOC 80W Dual Ports GaN Power Adapter Kit, which probably means the charger won’t be included in the box.
