Xiaomi has unveiled the Watch S4 eSIM 15th Anniversary Edition at its 15th Anniversary Launch event in China. This special edition smartwatch introduces Xiaomi’s first in-house chip for wearables, the Xring T1. At the same event, Xiaomi also launched the Xiaomi 15S Pro featuring the Xring O1 3nm chip, 2K OLED display, Leica cameras and a 6100mAh battery, along with the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Anyhow, here’s everything we know about the new smartwatch.
At the heart of the Watch S4 is the Xring T1 processor, which marks a big step forward in Xiaomi’s smartwatch development. This chip integrates a 4G modem and video codec module, and runs at up to 500MHz.

Xiaomi says the chip improves app launch speeds by 13%, cuts standby power by 66%, and reduces VoLTE and data power usage by 46% and 27%, respectively.
The Watch S4 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 466 × 466 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2200 nits. The screen is protected by Dragon Crystal Glass, and the body includes a forged carbon bezel engraved with “XRING INSIDE”, a PVD-treated aluminium alloy casing, and a stainless steel frame. You can choose between fluoro rubber or woven nylon straps.
The watch packs 64MB of RAM and 4GB of storage, and supports over 150 sports modes, including AI-guided running, automatic workout detection, and Pro Ski Mode 2.0. Health features include heart rate and SpO₂ monitoring, sleep tracking, stress tracking, women’s health and even cuff-less blood pressure estimation via the Xiaomi Health Research app.
The Watch S4 comes with eSIM support for 4G calling and messaging, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC for payments and access, and dual-band GPS (L1 + L5). It supports five satellite systems: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and BeiDou. You also get Bluetooth and network-based walkie-talkie functionality.
It’s powered by a 486mAh battery offering up to 9 days of use with eSIM active and up to 15 days in Bluetooth-only mode. It supports 2-pin magnetic fast charging and runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2. The watch is compatible with Android 8.0 and iOS 12.0 or later, though features like voice assistant and WeChat replies work only with Android.
The Watch S4 15th Anniversary Edition supports gesture controls, Mi Home integration, and smart car controls for Xiaomi’s SU7 series vehicles via the Xiaomi Auto App. It’s also 5ATM water resistant, making it safe for swimming and other shallow-water activities.
The Xiaomi Watch S4 15th Anniversary Edition is now available for purchase in China, priced at CNY 1299 (approx $180 / ₹15,505). It comes in Green Flame and Black colours.
