Xiaomi has officially started rolling out its latest operating system HyperOS 2 based on Android 15 to Xiaomi 14. The OS update version number OS2.0.4.0.VNCMIXM is sized at 6.3 GB and is now available for international users of the flagship device. Here’s everything you need to know about the new OS update.
The new HyperOS 2 runs on HyperCore, Xiaomi’s proprietary kernel designed to boost performance, reduce CPU idle time and enhance graphics capabilities. According to the reports, the Xiaomi 13 and Redmi K60 series will most likely be the next phones to receive the new OS update.
In completely separate news, it is being reported that Xiaomi is working on a mid-range smartphone with a 7000mAh battery.
While the exact model has not been confirmed, it is rumoured to belong to the Redmi lineup possibly as the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro or the Redmi K90.
