Xiaomi’s latest launch event wasn’t just about the Xiaomi 17 series smartphones. But that’s not all, the company also unveiled its brand-new tablets, the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro. Here’s more on both the newly launched tablets.
Both tablets share several similarities including an 11.2-inch LCD display with 3.2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits peak brightness. The panel also supports HDR10, HDR Vivid, Dolby Vision, and full DC dimming for smoother visuals.
Xiaomi is also offering a Matte Edition for both models featuring an AG texture coating that reduces screen reflections by up to 70%. For audio, the devices pack quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, while security is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Powering them is a 9,200mAh battery with the standard Pad 8 supporting 45W fast charging and the Pro variant stepping up to 67W.
