It appears Xiaomi is preparing for the launch of its next sub-flagship smartphone series, the Xiaomi 17T lineup. After Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra arriving globally, the brand is now expected to introduce the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro.
Ahead of the official announcement, the standard Xiaomi 17T has surfaced on Geekbench AI and revealed some of the key specifications. Here’s what we know so far.
According to reports, a Xiaomi device with the model number 2602DPT53G has been listed on the Geekbench AI database. Previous certification listings suggest that this device will launch as the Xiaomi 17T.
According to the listing, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek processor featuring a prime core clocked at 3.40GHz, three performance cores running at 3.20GHz and four efficiency cores operating at 2.20GHz. For graphics, it includes a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. These specifications strongly indicate that the device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset.
The Xiaomi 17T is listed with 12GB of RAM and runs on Android 16 that is expected to be layered with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 custom interface.
Previous reports have suggestted that the upcoming Xiaomi 17T will feature a 6.59-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. While the exact battery capacity has not been officially confirmed, it is expected to be around 7,000mAh with support for 67W fast charging.
In terms of cameras, the smartphone is likely to include a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. On the rear, it is expected to sport a triple-camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel secondary lens and a 50-megapixel third sensor. However, the exact configuration of the primary and telephoto cameras may vary.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro variant is expected to come with a larger display and be powered by the more advanced MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. It is also tipped to include a periscope telephoto camera, while the standard Xiaomi 17T may feature a conventional telephoto lens.
With the Xiaomi 17T now appearing on Geekbench AI and multiple certifications, its official launch is expected to take place soon.
