A new leak has now further revealed key details about the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Max smartphone ahead of its official debut in China. According to the leak, the Xiaomi 17 Max is scheduled to launch in China on May 21, 2026. Here’s what we know based on the recent leaks.

Xiaomi 17 Max Spotted on Geekbench

According to tipster Abhishek Yadav on X, the device carrying the model number 2605EPN8EC has now surfaced on Geekbench giving us a fair idea of its performance.

The tipset has also revealed several hardware specifications but let’s circle back at the benchmark details first.

As per the Geekbench listing shared by the tipster, the Xiaomi 17 Max managed to score more than 3,750 points in the single-core test and over 11,000 points in the multi-core benchmark.

The listing also confirms that the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The chipset is expected to be paired with the Adreno 840 GPU. The device is also tipped to feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

Xiaomi 17 Max – Key Specs Tipped

According to the tipster’s post, the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Max is said to feature a large 6.9-inch 2K OLED LTPO flat display. The panel is tipped to support up to 3,800 nits peak brightness along with 3840Hz PWM dimming. The smartphone is also expected to come with Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0 protection.

For photography, the device could pack a triple rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel Samsung HP9 sensor with OIS support. The camera system is also said to include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel 3x telephoto periscope camera. On the front, the phone is tipped to feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
