According to tipster Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd on X (formerly Twitter), Xiaomi is expected to introduce the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra in India around March 2026. This launch window aligns closely with last year’s Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra release schedule in the country.
The tipster also mentioned that Xiaomi could be preparing to launch another smartphone under the Xiaomi 17 lineup. This device is believed to be the Xiaomi 17T, which has recently surfaced in rumours.
Previous reports suggested that a new Xiaomi 17 series phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset is in the works, and the Xiaomi 17T could be that model. As per Abhishek Yadav, sources indicate that the Xiaomi 17T may arrive in India in April 2026.
