Xiaomi has officially confirmed the global launch date for the Xiaomi 17 series. The new flagship lineup will debut internationally later this month with the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra expected to arrive in select markets. Meanwhile, fresh leaks have also shed light on the potential early launch of the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro models.
Xiaomi 17 Series Global Launch Date Confirmed.
An official microsite has revealed that the Xiaomi 17 series will launch globally on February 28 in Barcelona. Although Xiaomi has not explicitly confirmed the models set to debut, teaser visuals prominently showcase the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in its Starry Green colour option. The Ultra variant is widely expected to launch alongside the standard Xiaomi 17.
The Xiaomi 17 originally debuted in China in September 2025, alongside the Pro and Pro Max versions. The Ultra model followed later, launching in December.
Ahead of the global unveiling, a landing page on Xiaomi’s website indicates that buyers of the Xiaomi 17 series will receive a 24-month “quality assurance plan” and one free screen replacement within the first six months. Additionally, customers will be eligible for out-of-warranty repairs without labour charges during the warranty period.
Leaked pricing details suggest that the base Xiaomi 17 variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage could be priced at EUR 999 (approximately Rs. 1,07,000). The 12GB + 512GB model is tipped to cost EUR 1,099 (around Rs. 1,18,000). The handset may be offered in Black, Green, Blue, and Pink colour options.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is reportedly expected to carry a price tag of EUR 1,499 (roughly Rs. 1,61,000) for the 16GB + 512GB variant and EUR 1,699 (about Rs. 1,83,000) for the 16GB + 1TB configuration. Globally, the Ultra model is likely to launch in Black, White, and Green shades.
While Xiaomi has yet to confirm an India launch date, the Xiaomi 17 is speculated to be priced at around Rs. 80,000 in the country. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra could cost approximately Rs. 1,25,000. If these estimates hold true, both models would be priced higher than their predecessors, which launched at Rs. 64,999 and Rs. 1,09,999, respectively.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra was also recently spotted on Geekbench, further hinting at its imminent global release.

If accurate, this would represent a notable change in Xiaomi’s typical release cycle, as the Xiaomi 15T series launched in September 2025 and the Xiaomi 14T series debuted in September 2024.
The Xiaomi 17T is reportedly associated with model number 2602DPT53G and carries the internal codename ‘Chagall’. The Xiaomi 17T Pro is said to bear model number 2602EPTC0G and is internally referred to as ‘Warhol’.
The leak claims both devices will bring notable improvements in performance and battery life, while camera upgrades may be comparatively modest. In terms of hardware, the Xiaomi 17T is tipped to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, whereas the Xiaomi 17T Pro could be powered by the Dimensity 9500 SoC.
Earlier leaks have also hinted at an advanced feature set for the Xiaomi 17T Pro including a P68 + IP69-rated build, an 8,500mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support, and built-in cooling fans. The Pro variant reportedly appeared in the IMEI database last year under model number 2602EPTC0R.
