Xiaomi has officially announced the China launch date for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The event will take place on February 27 at 7 PM CST i.e. 4:30 PM IST. Alongside the smartphone, Xiaomi will also unveil its latest luxury car the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.

Meanwhile, the global launch of the Xiaomi 15 series is set for March during the Mobile World Congress (MWC). Reports suggest that both the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra will be introduced at the event and will arrive in India in March.

A hands-on video has surfaced online showcasing the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in three different finishes including a dual-tone design, black and white colour options. Each variant has a unique back finish and a distinct trim around the circular camera module.

The phone features a quad-curve display, though the curves are subtle. The sides remain mostly flat, with a bevelled back for better ergonomics.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is packed with an impressive quad-camera system featuring –

  • 50MP 1-inch main sensor (Sony LYT900) with OIS
  • 50MP ultra-wide lens (Samsung JN5)
  • 50MP 3x telephoto (IMX858)
  • 200MP periscope zoom lens (HP9)
  • 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls

Xiaomi 15 Ultra – Other Features

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with an Adreno 830 GPU. It is expected to come with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 512GB or 1TB (UFS 4.0).

The phone will support USB 3.2, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and come with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers.
