In the ever-evolving world of smartphones, Xiaomi is gearing up to make a splash with its latest entrant – the Xiaomi 13T series. With the official launch just around the corner, leaks and rumours are painting a compelling picture of what’s to come, setting the stage for a momentous reveal.
Tipped by well-known insider Sudhanshu Ambhore and the team at Appuals, leaked design renders unveil the Xiaomi 13T and its sibling, the 13T Pro, in three distinct hues – classic black, verdant green, and a plush blue.
While the black and green models are set to feature sleek glass back panels, the blue version promises a more luxurious touch with its faux leather finish.
Beyond the aesthetics, the Xiaomi 13T series is poised to be a tech juggernaut. With displays boasting a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel, they promise crystal-clear visuals with their 1.5K resolution and a blazing 144Hz refresh rate.
Ensuring the durability of this visual treat, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Delving deeper into the internals, the Xiaomi 13T is expected to house the robust MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra processor, while its Pro counterpart is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+.
Paired with the fresh MIUI 14 interface over Android 13, it’s clear Xiaomi is determined to provide a seamless user experience. Adding a cherry on top, Xiaomi commits to keeping the 13T series current with 4 Android version upgrades and 5 years of security updates.
Camera enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to. The 13T series is rumoured to feature a powerhouse triple-camera system, led by a 50MP Sony IMX707 sensor.
Enhanced with Leica branding and optical image stabilisation (OIS), the camera array also boasts a 50MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. For selfie aficionados, a 20MP front camera is set to capture stunning portraits.
With longevity in mind, the 13T series is backed by a robust 5000mAh battery. Rapid charging won’t be left behind either, with the 13T supporting a 67W fast charge and the Pro version turbocharging the experience with 120W capabilities.
On the pricing front, Sudhanshu hints at a price tag of €699 for the 8GB + 256GB Xiaomi 13T variant, while the 12GB + 512GB 13T Pro is set at around €899.
As the clock ticks down to the grand unveiling, these leaks have undoubtedly ramped up the anticipation. Come September 26, all eyes will be on Berlin as Xiaomi takes the stage.
