Whats App adds new feature to offer better voice message experience

To make the voice message experience even better, Meta-owned popular messaging-app WhatsApp, has introduced new features. Out of Chat Playback, Pause/Resume Recording, Waveform Visualization, Draft Preview, Remember Playback, Fast Playback on Forwarded Messages have been introduced by the WhatsApp.

Out of Chat Playback: This feature on WhatsApp allows you to do multitask. Out of Chat Playback allows users to listen to a voice message outside of the chat.

Pause/Resume Recording: In case you are interrupted or need to gather your thoughts while recording the voice message, you can now pause the recording and resume when ready.

Waveform Visualization:  It allows WhatsApp users to have a visual representation of the sound on the voice message to help follow the recording.

Draft Preview: The introduction of Draft preview enables you to listen to your voice messages before sending them.

Remember Playback: If you pause when listening to a voice message, you can pick up where you left off when you return to the chat.

Fast Playback on Forwarded Messages: With this features you can listen to messages at 1.5x or 2x speeds on both regular and forwarded messages.

In many situations voice messages are the preferred form of communication on WhatsApp, as showing emotion or excitement through voice is more natural than text. Voice messages have made it quick and easy for people to have more expressive conversations.

Voice messaging is a boon for those who do not want to type but send encouraging messages, tell stories to their friends and loved ones.

Voice messaging was launched by the WhatsApp in 2013. By keeping the design simple, WhatsApp has made recording and sending a voice message as quick and easy as writing a text.

Seven billion voice messages

Around 7 billion voice messages are shared by the users on WhatsApp on every day. These messages are protected by end-to-end encryption to maintain privacy and security.
