Vivo has officially unveiled the Vivo Y500 Pro, the latest addition to its Y-series lineup. The new mid-range smartphone focuses on delivering powerful performance, an impressive 7,000mAh battery, and a high-resolution camera setup, all at a competitive price point. Here’s everything you need to know about the new phone, starting with price.

The Vivo Y500 Pro is currently open for pre-orders and will officially go on sale in China starting November 14.
The Vivo Y500 Pro is available in four colour options, which include Auspicious Gold, Light Green, Soft Pink, and Titanium Black.
The dual-SIM Vivo Y500 Pro runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top. It sports a 6.67-inch OLED display offering a 1.5K (1,260×2,800 pixels) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,600 nits peak brightness. The screen boasts a 94.10 per cent screen-to-body ratio for an immersive viewing experience.
The device is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and efficient performance.

For photography, the Vivo Y500 Pro features a dual rear camera setup that includes a 200MP primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it houses a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture for clear selfies and video calls. The phone also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering strong resistance against dust and water.
Connectivity options include 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, OTG, NavIC, and a USB Type-C port. The handset also features an in-display fingerprint sensor and supports facial recognition. Other onboard sensors include an e-compass, gyroscope, gravity sensor, infrared remote control, photosensitive sensor, and proximity sensor.
Powering the smartphone is a massive 7,000mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. The device measures 160.23×74.51×7.81mm and weighs 198 grams.
