Vivo has quietly launched a new phone called the Vivo Y37c in the Chinese market. The brand last year introduced the Vivo Y37 and Y37m with the Dimensity 6300 chipset, which was followed up with the launch of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2-powered Vivo Y37 Pro. Now, expanding the moniker, the Y37c joins the lineup. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
The Vivo Y37c comes with a large 6.56-inch LCD screen with a waterdrop notch. It offers an HD+ resolution, a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and can get up to 570 nits bright. It also has eye protection features to help reduce blue light and make viewing more comfortable.
The phone is powered by the Unisoc T7225 chipset. It packs 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. There’s also support for virtual RAM to help with multitasking. The phone is backed by a big 5,500mAh battery with support for 15W charging.
With an IP64 rating, the Y37c is protected against dust and water, making it a tough companion for daily use.
For cameras, the Y37c has a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. On the back, there’s a 13-megapixel main camera with an LED flash, a simple setup perfect for casual photography. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for quick unlocking and runs on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14.
Connectivity options include dual SIM 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. As for size, the device measures 167.30 x 76.95 x 8.19mm and weighs 199 grams.

The Vivo Y37c is priced at 1,199 Yuan (around $275) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. Buyers can choose between two colour options, which include Dark Green and Titanium.
It’s already available for purchase in China. Meanwhile, Vivo hasn’t yet announced if or when the Y37c will be released in markets outside of China.
