Vivo X80 and X80 Pro launched in China with Dimensity 9000Soc and 80W fast-charging

Vivo has finally unveiled its upcoming X series in China. The series includes two flagships, namely Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro. The Vivo X80 Pro features a 120Hz refresh rate with an AMOLED display. It also flaunts a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, with fast-charging support up to 80W. Furthermore, it sports a curved display and a punch-hole cutout in the front for the selfie camera.

Now, coming to the base model, the Vivo X80 has the same design as the Vivo X Note. Also, it is available in both Dimensity 9000 SoC and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 models. Here are the detailed specifications and prices for this latest launch from the brand!

Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro: Price and availability

Coming to the availability part, so the Vivo X80 is the base variant and comes in three storage and RAM options. It has 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 12GB+512GB models, with prices ranging from CNY 3,699 (about Rs 43,200), CNY 3,999 (INR 46,700), CNY 4,399 (INR 51,400), and CNY 4,899 (INR 57,300) respectively.

Similarly, the Pro variant of this X series- The Vivo X80 Pro is also available in three different configurations: 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB. The price for all three models goes from CNY 5,499 (INR 64,200), CNY 5,999 (INR 70,000), and CNY 6,699 (INR 78,300) respectively. Both the smartphones will go live for sale starting April 29, 2022.

Both smartphones feature some great specs and powerful processors. Here’s a close look at what to expect from both the stunning devices!

Vivo X80

The Vivo X80 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ E5 AMOLED display paired with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone comes powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor paired with 12GB RAM. It also features massive storage of 512GB. Under the hood, the Vivo X80 flaunts a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast-charging as well.

As per the camera specs, it features a triple camera alignment including a 50MP Sony IMX866 sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom capability. Moreover, it sports a 32MP front camera for sharp selfies as well. The Vivo X80 comes pre-installed with OriginOS, which is based on Android 12.

Vivo X80 Pro

The Vivo X80 Pro flaunts a massive 6.78-inch 2k display paired with a 120Hz refresh rate. Of course, it is an AMOLED display for a brighter and smoother experience. Under the hood, the phone sports a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU. Furthermore, it features a good 12GB of RAM paired with 512GB of storage. It also comes with a 4,700mAh battery power with 80W fast-charging as well.

Now coming to the camera configuration, the Vivo X80 Pro features a quad-camera set-up at the back. It includes a 50MP f/1.57 primary camera, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, a 12MP portrait shooter, and an 8MP periscope lens with 5x optical and 60x digital zoom capabilities on the rear. It also sports a 32MP selfie shooter for amazing selfies and clear video calls. Just like the X80, it also comes pre-installed with OriginOS, based on Android 12.
