Vivo is expected to launch the X500 series later this year, although the company has not yet announced an official launch date. Here’s more on what we know about the standard model based on the latest leak.
Vivo X500 3C Certification Reveals 90W Charging

Tipster Anvin @ZionsAnvin has shared a certification screenshot on X. It reveals details of the standard Vivo X500 smartphone with model number V2602A appearing on China’s 3C certification database. The listing reveals that the upcoming smartphone will support 90W fast charging.
While Vivo has not officially confirmed the X500 series yet, the latest certification adds to the growing list of details about the company’s upcoming flagship lineup.

The certification does not reveal other specifications of the smartphone but the charging detail suggests that fast charging will remain a key feature of Vivo’s upcoming flagship series.
The standard X500 is not the only model from the series to appear on China’s certification platform. The Vivo X500 Pro Max recently cleared 3C certification as well and the listing confirmed support for the n79 5G band, BeiDou satellite connectivity and 90W fast charging.
That’s not all! China’s 3C authority has also certified two other Vivo smartphones carrying model numbers V2606A and V2609A. These devices are believed to be the upcoming iQOO 16 and Vivo X500 Pro, respectively. This suggests that Vivo and its iQOO sub-brand are preparing several flagship models for launch.
Vivo X500 – Expected Specification
Earlier leaks have suggested that the Vivo X500 series will continue using a circular camera module, although the standard X500 could get a slightly different design from the Pro models.
The standard Vivo X500 is tipped to feature a circular camera module positioned towards the upper-left corner of the rear panel, rather than in the centre. This could give the standard model a distinct appearance compared to the Pro variants.

However, the exact camera arrangement and sensor specifications are still unclear.
Earlier reports also suggest that the phone could feature a 6.59-inch display, up from the 6.31-inch screen on the Vivo X300.
Interestingly, the three models in the upcoming lineup are tipped to have different screen sizes. The Vivo X500 Pro could feature a relatively compact 6.37-inch display, while the top-end Vivo X500 Pro Max is expected to have a larger 6.85-inch screen.
The phone will most likely have extremely narrow bezels for a more immersive viewing experience. The displays could offer 1.5K or 2K resolution and support refresh rates of up to 144Hz. If accurate, this would be an upgrade over the 120Hz refresh rate offered by the previous X300 series.
More details about the Vivo X500 series are likely to emerge as the expected launch approaches.
