Vivo has officially confirmed that its upcoming Vivo X300s smartphone will launch in China on March 30 alongside the Vivo X300 Ultra. There were rumours earlier that the device could be called the Vivo X300 Max. But the company’s Product Manager has already clarified that it will instead be named the Vivo X300s. Ahead of the launch, the smartphone has now appeared in the Geekbench database revealing some key details.

Recently, a Vivo smartphone bearing the model number V2548A has been spotted on the Geekbench database. The details of the listing were posted on X by tipster Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd. This model number is believed to be the Vivo X300s and the listing does offer a glimpse into the expected details.

The Geekbench listing reveals that the device achieved a single-core score of 3310 and a multi-core score of 10,141. It is powered by an octa-core processor featuring four cores clocked at 2.70GHz, three cores at 3.50GHz, and a prime core running at 4.21GHz. The chipset is paired with a Mali-G1-Ultra MC12 GPU, indicating that the smartphone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC.

The listing also shows the device equipped with 16GB of RAM and running on Android 16. Previously, the same model number was spotted on China’s 3C certification platform, which suggested that the Vivo X300s may support 90W wired fast charging.

Tipster has also revealed several key features of the Vivo X300s. It will reportedly sport a 6.78-inch display made using BOE Q10 Plus material and will support circular polarised light 2.0 technology, aimed at improving viewing comfort under natural lighting conditions. The display will offer a 144Hz refresh rate, marking a first for the X series, and will also support native 144FPS in large-scale MOBA mobile games.

On the audio front, the smartphone will feature 1511 War Drum Master Symmetrical dual speakers Pro with upgraded amplifiers and algorithms. Both the top and bottom speakers are 1511 units, designed to deliver a wider sound field and improved audio output. The device will also include an ultra-sensory gaming sound field, which is claimed to enhance in-game sound details by up to 120%.

Additionally, the Vivo X300s will come equipped with a 751440 custom ultra-sensory vibration motor. This upgraded X-axis motor features a height-enhanced design, an advanced electromagnetic system, and special alloy materials for improved performance.

It delivers vibration intensity comparable to a 1016 motor with a bandwidth that is 2.2 times higher than a traditional 9595 motor. The motor also supports 4D vibration effects in over 10 popular mobile games, with adjustable intensity levels, making it the largest X-axis motor ever used in the X series.
