The Vivo X300 Ultra is reportedly gearing up for its China debut. Fresh leaks are now revealing key details about the upcoming flagship. While we will get to the leaked information, we have to note that Vivo has not officially confirmed the model. Instead, multiple leaks over recent weeks have outlined what to expect from this upcoming phone. Here’s what we know based on recent leaks.
According to a Weibo post by tipster Smart Pikachu, the Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to launch in China sometime in the first quarter of 2026. According to multiple reports, this will most likely be between January and March 2026. And if it turns out to be true, this would place its arrival slightly earlier than its predecessor.
For launch timeline context, the Vivo X200 Ultra launched in April 2025 following the October 2024 debut of the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro. In comparison, the standard Vivo X300 and X300 Pro were unveiled in China this past October. This suggests that a Q1 2026 launch for the Ultra variant fits within Vivo’s typical release cycle.
The tipster also claims that the Vivo X300 Ultra could be equipped with a massive 7,000mAh battery. It will be a notable jump from the 6,000mAh unit found in the X200 Ultra. Meanwhile, the recently launched Vivo X300 series feature a 6,040mAh battery (standard model) and a 6,510mAh battery (Pro model), both supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.
If accurate, the 7,000mAh capacity would make the X300 Ultra one of Vivo’s largest-battery flagship phones yet.
Past leaks suggest the Vivo X300 Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset built on a 3nm process. The phone is also rumoured to feature a 6.8-inch 2K display and a triple rear camera setup, which may include two 200-megapixel sensors. One of these is tipped to be Sony’s new LYTIA 901 sensor.
In addition, the handset could offer upgraded ultrawide, primary, and 35mm periscope telephoto cameras compared to the Vivo X200 Ultra.
Vivo is expected to reveal more details in the coming months.
