Vivo has unveiled its latest premium smartphones, the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300s, in China. Both devices come equipped with advanced 200-megapixel Zeiss-backed camera systems, teleconverter support and run on OriginOS 6 out of the box. While the Ultra model focuses on top-end performance with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the X300s brings a large battery and a 144Hz display powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. Here’s everything you need to know about both phones.

Vivo X300 Ultra – Key Features

The Vivo X300 Ultra features a 6.82-inch 2K (3168×1440 pixels) AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and up to 300Hz touch sampling rate for gaming. It is powered by the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC paired with an Adreno 840 GPU and Vivo’s VS1+ imaging chip. The handset offers up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage and runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6.

On the camera front, the device packs a Zeiss-backed 200-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with OIS. The telephoto lens supports 3.7x optical zoom and up to 105x digital zoom. All rear cameras support OIS and can record videos in up to 8K resolution. For selfies, it features a 50-megapixel front camera capable of 4K video recording.

It also features a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and facial recognition. The device measures 162.98 × 76.81 × 8.19mm and weighs 232g (Black variant), while other variants are slightly thicker at 8.49mm and weigh 237g.

The phone supports teleconverter accessories including the “Big Gun” 400 teleconverter, which offers up to 400mm focal length, 200-megapixel optical output, and up to 17.4x optical zoom. It can extend up to 1600mm zoom while maintaining stabilisation. A more compact “Lipstick” 200 teleconverter is also available, offering improved optics, stabilisation, and multiple shooting modes.

The Vivo X300 Ultra is backed by a 6,600mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging support, along with reverse charging capability. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C.

Vivo X300s – Key Features

The Vivo X300s sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K (2800×1260 pixels) AMOLED flat display with up to 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR support, P3 wide colour gamut, and up to 300Hz touch sampling rate for gaming. It also includes a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and facial recognition. The handset measures 161.98 × 75.48 × 8.00mm and weighs 217g.

It is powered by the 3nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, coupled with an ARM G1-Ultra GPU and Vivo’s V3+ Blueprint imaging chip. The device offers up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, and runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6.

For photography, the Vivo X300s features a Zeiss-backed 200-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with OIS. It supports up to 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, along with advanced shooting modes and up to 4K video recording. It also includes a 50-megapixel front camera. The device supports the “Lipstick 200” teleconverter for improved zoom performance.

The smartphone is equipped with a 7,100mAh battery supporting 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging, along with reverse charging via OTG. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C.

The Vivo X300 Ultra starts at CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 95,900) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB Satellite Communication Edition are priced at CNY 7,499 (roughly Rs. 1,02,700), CNY 7,999 (roughly Rs. 1,09,600), and CNY 8,999 (roughly Rs. 1,23,300), respectively.

Meanwhile, the Vivo X300s is priced starting at CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 68,500) for the 12GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 512GB version costs CNY 5,499 (roughly Rs. 75,400), while the 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB variants are priced at CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 82,200) and CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 95,900), respectively.

Vivo has confirmed that all variants will come with 200GB of cloud storage for two years, although the offer is valid only until May 5.

In terms of colours, the Vivo X300 Ultra is available in Black, Film Green, and Silver Tone finishes. The Vivo X300s is offered in Dream Core Purple, Film Green, Silver Tone, and Titanium Black options.

Accessories, Bundles and Availability

Vivo has also introduced multiple accessories for both smartphones. The G2 Ultra teleconverter bundle for the X300 Ultra, which includes a phone case, is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 27,400). A version bundled with a professional imaging handle costs CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 34,200). The standard Teleconverter G2 bundle is available for CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 20,600), while the standalone professional imaging handle set costs CNY 699 (roughly Rs. 9,600).

For the Vivo X300s, the Teleconverter G2 bundle with a compatible case is priced at CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 13,700). The Photographer Kit, which includes the Vivo X300 Ultra 16GB + 1TB variant in Film Green colour, is priced at CNY 7,999 (roughly Rs. 1,09,600).

Additionally, the Vivo X300 Ultra Photographer Kit, which bundles the 16GB + 1TB Satellite Communication Edition, is available for CNY 11,999 (roughly Rs. 1,64,400), offering a total value of CNY 12,999 (roughly Rs. 1,78,100).

All these accessories and bundles will be released in limited quantities starting April 3. The company has also partnered with SmallRig to introduce a Professional Video Expansion Kit priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 23,300), which is expected to go on sale between mid and late April 2026.
