Vivo is gearing up to expand its flagship X300 series in India with the introduction of the Vivo X300 FE. While the company has not officially confirmed the launch timeline, recent leaks indicate that this upcoming Vivo 5G smartphone could debut in the Indian market as early as next month. Here’s what we know about the phone and its potential launch in India so far.
Popular tipster Debayan Roy @Gadgetsdata on X has claimed via a post that the Vivo X300 FE may arrive in India in May 2026. The leak also suggests that Vivo could unveil the Vivo X300 Ultra alongside the X300 FE in the country.
Notably, the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300s 5G were recently launched in China on March 30. While the Ultra variant is positioned as the most powerful model in the series, the X300 FE has already been introduced in the Russian market with a compact form factor and a relatively smaller display.
And other models such as Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro are already available in India, which makes Vivo X300 FE the third device in the lineup. Unlike its siblings that run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, the X300 FE is tipped to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor.
Vivo X300 FE will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset built on a 3nm process with clock speeds reaching up to 3.8GHz and OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

It also comes equipped with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The device has a slim profile, measuring 7.99mm in thickness and weighing 190 grams.
In terms of optics, the smartphone features a triple rear camera setup with Aura Light. The system includes a 50-megapixel Sony primary sensor with f/1.57 aperture and OIS, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens offering a 106-degree field of view. On the front, the Vivo X300 FE is equipped with a 50-megapixel selfie camera for high-resolution self-portraits and video calls.
The device packs a 6500mAh battery unit and supports 90W fast charging and also offers 40W wireless fast charging capability.
On the software front, the global variant of the Vivo X300 FE 5G promises 5 generations of Android OS upgrades along with 7 years of security updates. The smartphone comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an IR blaster.
In the Russian market, the device is available with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage and the same configuration is expected to be offered in the Indian variant as well.
