Vivo seems all set to expand its V-series lineup in India with the upcoming Vivo V60. A new leak has recently confirmed the possible launch date of the phone in India. It is also revealed that it might bring along some exciting upgrades such as the Android 16-based OriginOS, which has so far only been available in China. Here’s everything we know so far.

Vivo V60 – Launch Date

Tipster Abhishek Yadav shared on X (formerly Twitter) that the Vivo V60 will make its Indian debut next month, possibly on August 19. Yadav also reveals that this will be the first global Vivo phone to run OriginOS instead of Funtouch OS. That’s a big shift for Vivo’s international software strategy.

Vivo V60 – Renders Leaked

Meanwhile, alleged renders of the Vivo V60 have also surfaced online. Reliable tipster Yogesh Brar on X shared renders of the phone in Blue and Gold colour variants along with some key details about the phone.

While only the back of the phone is visible in the photos, it shows a dual-camera setup with ZEISS branding in the top-left corner. There’s also an additional sensor and a ring light beside the module. The phone appears to have rounded edges for a comfortable grip with the volume and power buttons placed on the right.

While the front design hasn’t been revealed, it’s expected to feature a punch-hole camera for selfies.

The leaked renders show the V60 in Moonlit Blue and Auspicious Gold, while Brar revealed there will be another colour option called Mist Grey.

Vivo V60 – Expected Specifications

The Vivo V60 is expected to share many features with the Vivo S30, which launched in China earlier this year. However, the Indian version could feature ZEISS-tuned optics, just like the Vivo V50.

Here’s what the V60 could offer –

Display – 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio

Processor – Snapdragon 7 Gen 4

Memory – Up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage

Camera – 50MP Sony primary lens, 50MP Sony telephoto, 8MP ultra-wide, ZEISS optics

Battery- 6,500mAh with 90W wired fast charging (as per TUV listing)

Software – Android 16-based OriginOS

The phone was recently spotted on SIRIM and TUV certification sites under the model number V2511, further confirming an imminent launch.

If the leaks are accurate, the Vivo V60 could be a stylish mid-range device with strong cameras, fast charging and a fresh new software experience outside China.
