The Vivo V30 has officially been launched for the global markets.
This new addition to Vivo’s lineup comes on the heels of the V29, which we liked alot.
Notably, the Vivo V30 is now making its way to over 30 markets worldwide, including key regions such as India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Pakistan, Egypt, and the UAE.
While the company has yet to reveal the pricing, it’s expected that the cost will be tailored to fit the economic conditions of each market.
“V series has always been synonymous with a light and simple aesthetic, a characteristic that is amplified with Vivo’s groundbreaking innovations in both design and portrait photography. In a true feat of product engineering, V30 has fitted a 5000 mAh (TYP) large battery in the signature slim frame, ensuring long battery life and unique style,” said Yongduan Zhou, General Manager of Overseas Products.
“We have also upgraded the Aura Light Portrait feature, a truly powerful tool to help users easily capture stunning portraits, even in challenging low-light night conditions.”
The Vivo V30 packs in a triple 50MP camera system wherein the main and ultra-wide camera along with selfie shooter, all pack in the same resolution.
The inclusion of an upgraded Aura Light flash, alongside a novel colour temperature sensor, are additional hardware capabilities that can enhance your photo-taking experience.
The display of the Vivo V30 comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen boasting a 1.5K resolution and a high 120Hz refresh rate.
The screen’s peak brightness of 2,800 nits ensures that it remains readable even in direct sunlight.
Furthermore, the device’s design maintains the elegant aesthetic Vivo is known for, featuring a centered punch-hole selfie camera and 3D curved glass for a premium feel.
Underneath, the Vivo V30 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, providing users with top-tier performance and efficiency.
This makes the V30 the first smartphone globally to harness this cutting-edge technology.
The significant battery upgrade to 5,000 mAh, coupled with 80W FlashCharge, means the V30 is not just powerful but also enduring, ensuring users can enjoy prolonged usage without frequent recharges.
Additionally, you also see the inclusion of an advanced cooling system although its efficiency will only be apparent after a full review.
The device has up to 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM.
It will run on FuntouchOS 14 which is based on Android 14.
