Vivo is set to expand its V30 series with a new addition called the V30 5G .
The potential launch is going to come at the heels of the V30 Lite’s debut last December.
As a confirmation, Vivo Philippines recently teased the Vivo V30 5G, which is almost always a hint at an imminent arrival.
The teaser image reveals a slim design featuring a curved screen with a punch-hole cutout, alongside a distinctive square camera island at the back, though specifics of the camera modules remain under wraps.
Positioned as the direct successor to the Vivo V29, the Vivo V30 5G is anticipated to elevate the user experience with its remarkable camera capabilities, ample storage, and a powerful chipset ensuring smooth performance.
Recent leaks and benchmarks have shed light on the technical prowess of the Vivo V30 5G.
It was spotted on the Geekbench database, revealing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor at its core.
This benchmark listing also indicates that the V30 5G will boast 12GB of RAM and come pre-loaded with Android 14, promising a robust and efficient user experience right out of the box.
Other specs are not as of yet known but from the kind of specs that we already know, it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to imagine a device with a more than decent viewing experience along with a healthy battery life.
We will let you know as and when more information about the Vivo V30 arrives.
The Vivo V30 5G’s journey through various regulatory approvals has also been noted, with the model number V2318 appearing on FCC, IMDA, NBTC, TDRA, and Bluetooth SIG certification websites.
Particularly, the Vivo V30 FCC listing disclosed the handset’s software version as PD2323IF_EX_A_14.0.2.21.W30, leading to speculations that the Vivo V30 5G could be a rebranded version of the Vivo S18 from the Chinese market.
