Vivo has officially revised the pricing of its budget smartphone, the Vivo T5x, in India. As per brand communication shared with retail partners, the new prices will come into effect from April 1, 2026. This will make the smartphone ₹2,000 more expensive across all variants. The phone was launched earlier this month at the starting price of ₹18,999 for the base variant.
According to the brand, the Vivo T5x will see a uniform price hike of ₹2,000 on all configurations, while the MRP remains unchanged. This increase applies to the Recommended Retail Price (RRP), and the revised pricing will be applicable across channels starting April 1.
Here are the updated prices –
| Vivo T5x Storage Variant | Old RRP | New RRP |
| 6GB + 128GB | ₹18,999 | ₹20,999 |
| 8GB + 128GB | ₹20,999 | ₹22,999 |
| 8GB + 256GB | ₹22,999 | ₹24,999 |
The company has stated that the revision is part of its internal commercial assessment. This includes factors such as rising input costs, channel investments, and the overall product value proposition.
For customers planning to purchase the Vivo T5x, this update is crucial. With a confirmed ₹2,000 hike incoming, the Vivo T5x becomes a slightly less affordable option post-April 1. Buyers can still take advantage of the current pricing and ongoing discounts until March 31.

Additionally, market sources suggest that there may be no major sales in April, making this the right time to grab the device at a lower price. As smartphone prices continue to rise across brands, timely purchases can make a noticeable difference in overall value.
As for features, the Vivo T5x 5G features a 6.76-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,344 pixels) LCD panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1200 nits peak brightness. It offers an upgraded Eye Comfort mode and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification for low blue light emissions.
The phone runs on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset, coupled with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The Vivo T5x 5G houses a 7,200mAh battery with 44W wired charging support. It comes with dual rear camera setup featuring 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 sensor and a 2-megapixel bokeh shooter. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats.
