Vivo has set the dates for the launch of its latest 5G lineup, T1 5G, on February 9. It was launched in China last year with Vivo T1x in October. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G and the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoCs. The specifications of the phone are not yet officially announced, but we can definitely count on this model for offering the best experience. Here’s what we know to give you a better perspective.
In an interview, the Director, Brand Strategy at Vivo India, said that “The new Vivo Series T is curated specially for today’s Gen Z and online users who are looking for turbo speed and performance with their smartphone experience. He also added that the phone would be available online via Flipkart and other mainline channels.
Vivo T1 5G smartphone runs on OriginOS 1.0, based on Android 11 and supports dual-sim (Nano). It sports a screen size of 6.67-inches with Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. Under the hood, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of inbuilt storage.
As far as the camera is concerned, it flaunts a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, it features a 16MP selfie shooter on the front. Furthermore, it has some additional features, including a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack connectivity, Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity, and supporting 5G. It comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.
The price for this upcoming stunner is yet to be revealed by Vivo. However, the company claims that Vivo T1 5G is the slimmest and the fastest smartphone coming in the Indian budget category of 20,000. It was launched at a price of CNY 2,199 (roughly INR 25,800) for the base 8GB+128GB RAM and storage variant, while the 8GB + 256GB model and 12GB + 256GB storage variant was priced at CNY 2,399 (roughly INR 28,100) and CNY 2,599 (roughly INR 30,500), respectively.
