According to tipster Yogesh Brar on X, the upcoming Vivo S2 carrying model number V2576 is expected to launch in the country in early August 2026 with sales likely to begin around August 15.
The Vivo S2 is said to be positioned in the premium mid-range category, where it is expected to compete with devices such as the Oppo Reno 16 Pro. If current rumours prove accurate, the smartphone could focus on offering a stylish design along with capable camera performance.
The report also suggests that the upcoming handset may borrow several features from Vivo’s global V-series smartphones.
Upcoming Vivo S2 – What To Expect?
The Vivo S2 will arrive as the successor to the Vivo S1, which was launched in India in 2019. The original model featured a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display and was powered by the MediaTek Helio P65 chipset.
For photography, the Vivo S1 offered a 16-megapixel primary camera paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, while selfies were handled by a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, which stood out in its segment at the time.
