Vivo will be introducing the Vivo S17 series smartphones in China on May 31st. Just yesterday, the company confirmed the launch date of this upcoming S-series smartphone.
Up until now, it was known that Vivo will be launching the Vivo S17 and the S17 Pro smartphones on May 31st. However, now, new details reveal that the S17 series might include a new device called the Vivo S17t.
Recently, three Vivo smartphones with model numbers V2282A, V2283A, and V2284A have received China’s TENAA certification. The model numbers V2283A and V2284A are supposed to belong to Vivo S17 and S17 Pro smartphones, while the V2282A model number could be of the Vivo S17t.
Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is all set to unveil the Vivo S17 series in China on May 31st. The company has already unveiled the Vivo S17e, which indicates that the company will unveil the Vivo S17, and Vivo S17 Pro on the launch day.
A new report from TechGoing states that China’s TENAA authority has given the green light to three new Vivo phones.
The Vivo S17 and S17 Pro are the V2283A and V2284A smartphones, while the V2282A is most likely the Vivo S17t.
Meaning, there might be a third smartphone along with the mentioned ones at the launch.

As per the TENAA certification, the Vivo S17 and S17t will flaunt a 6.78-inch AMOLED curved-edge display with a 1260 x 2800 pixels resolution.
Both these devices will come with 8GB/12GB and 16GB of RAM featuring 128GB/256GB and 512GB of internal storage. When it comes to imaging, these devices might feature a dual-camera setup.
The camera module might include a 50MP primary camera and a secondary 8MP sensor. Both these devices might feature a 50MP camera on the front side for selfies and video-calling purposes.
As per the TENAA certification, the S17 will be powered by 2.5GHz SoC, which could be Snapdragon 782 processor. On the other hand, the S17t is expected to come with a 3GHz chipset.
As far as the specifications of the Vivo S17 Pro go, it is also said to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED curved-edge display. Similar to the S17 and the S17t, the S17 Pro might also include a 50MP front-facing camera.
On the backside, the S17 Pro is expected to feature a triple-camera setup which might include a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP sensor, and an 8MP camera. Dimensions-wise, the S17 Pro might measure around 164.18 x 74.37 x 7.46mm and weighs 188 grams.
As for the software, all these three upcoming smartphones are expected to boot Android 13 OS with OriginOS 3.1 on top.

It is priced at Rs CNY 2,099 (approx Rs 24,658) for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage at CNY 2,299 (approx Rs 27,008), and the model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at CNY 2,499 (approx Rs 29,350).
