Several smartphone brands are preparing to launch new devices across different price segments in July. The coming week will witness a packed smartphone launch schedule with many highly anticipated models ready to make their debut in global markets. India will also have as many as four new handsets launches this week. Here’s a look at the upcoming smartphones, their launch dates and the key features confirmed or expected so far.
Redmi Note 17 Launching on July 14 (China)

Xiaomi will introduce the Redmi Note 17 in China on July 14.
The smartphone is confirmed to feature a large 7-inch OLED LTPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness. It will draw power from an 8,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging along with 22.5W reverse charging.
According to leaks, the Redmi Note 17 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset. It may launch with 12GB RAM and run Android 16 out of the box.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Launching on July 14 in China

The Redmi Note 17 Pro is also arriving on July 14 with several upgrades over the standard model. It is confirmed to pack a 9,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging support. The handset will also offer IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
Leaks suggest the phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM. It is also expected to feature a 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 200MP primary camera, and a 32MP front-facing camera.
Realme Narzo 100x Launching on July 15 in India

Realme will launch the Narzo 100x 5G in India on July 15. The smartphone is expected to house a massive 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
The handset is tipped to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor along with 14GB Dynamic RAM. Other expected highlights include a 6.8-inch HD+ display with a 140Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits brightness, a 50MP dual rear camera, and a 16MP selfie camera.
Motorola Edge 70 Max Launching on July 15 in India

Motorola is set to launch the Motorola Edge 70 Max in India on July 15. The phone will be positioned above the existing Motorola Edge 70, Edge 70 Fusion, Edge 70 Pro and Edge 70 Pro+ in the Edge 70 lineup. The upcoming premium smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and is expected to come with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and on-device AI processing capabilities. Moreover, Motorola claims the chip can achieve an AnTuTu score of over 3 million.
The device will feature a QHD+ LTPO display offering a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 7,000 nits peak brightness. It will be backed by a 7,100mAh battery with 90W TurboPower fast charging and 25W magnetic wireless charging. Motorola has also confirmed the ArcticMesh cooling system, which includes a 5,500mm² vapour chamber for improved thermal management during gaming and heavy workloads.
Tecno Pova 8 Pro Launching on July 15 in Thailand

Tecno will unveil the Pova 8 Pro in Thailand on July 15. One of its standout features will be the Matrix Dot Smart Alert Light.
Leaks indicate the phone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with 12GB RAM. It is also expected to offer a 1.5K display, a 50MP main rear camera, a 32MP front camera, and a battery larger than 8,000mAh. The smartphone is also expected to make its way to the Indian market in the near future.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra Launching on July 17 in India

Tecno will launch the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra in India on July 17 after its global debut. The smartphone comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset and LPDDR5X RAM.
It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness. The camera system includes a 50MP Sony LYT700C primary sensor, a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while selfies are handled by a 50MP front camera. Keeping the device powered is a 6,500mAh battery.
Vivo T5 Lite Launching on July 16 in India

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo T5 Lite 5G will debut in India on July 16. The smartphone will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and pack a 6,500mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge support.
It is also confirmed to feature a display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness, while leaks suggest the screen could measure 6.74 inches. For photography, the handset is expected to include a 50MP dual rear camera setup and launch in Twilight Shadow and Wave Blue colour options.
With multiple launches lined up across budget, mid-range, and premium segments, this week is expected to bring plenty of new options for smartphone buyers in both India and global markets.
