The rumour comes shortly after Oppo and OnePlus introduced their latest battery-focused smartphones in India. The Oppo A6 Pro 5G was launched recently with the largest battery ever seen on an Oppo A series device, while the OnePlus Nord 6 carries the biggest battery on any OnePlus smartphone so far. Anyhow, here’s more on the latest leak.
Oppo and OnePlus Could Launch Phones With 10,000mAh Batteries

According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, both Oppo and OnePlus are working on smartphones equipped with 10,000mAh batteries.
As per the tipster, the upcoming OnePlus smartphone is currently in the “pre-research” phase. However, neither Oppo nor OnePlus has officially confirmed these details, so it is more of a speculation for now.
The leak suggests that Oppo could be the first to introduce an unannounced A series smartphone featuring a 10,000mAh single-cell battery. Meanwhile, OnePlus is reportedly planning to launch a mid-range smartphone with Pro branding next year. The device is said to carry the model number SM8845 and could arrive with a battery larger than 10,000mAh.
If the report proves accurate, these upcoming Oppo and OnePlus smartphones would feature the largest batteries ever offered by the two brands.
At present, the Oppo A6 Pro 5G holds the record for the largest battery in the Oppo A series lineup. The smartphone was launched in India on January 5 with a starting price of Rs. 21,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It packs a 7,000mAh battery and supports 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging.
On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord 6 debuted in India on April 7 at a starting price of Rs. 38,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The smartphone comes equipped with a 9,000mAh battery, making it the largest battery ever offered on a OnePlus handset. It also supports 80W wired fast charging, similar to the Oppo A6 Pro 5G.
As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the upcoming devices and their possible battery specs. We can expect more details to pop up sometime in the coming weeks.
