Tecno has unveiled the latest addition to its Spark series, the Tecno Spark Go (2024), in India.
The device is part of a new push towards entry-level smartphones and the Spark Go actually packs in quite the specs compared to its price.
In terms of pricing, the Tecno Spark Go (2024) is priced at Rs. 6,699 for the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant.
Tecno will announce the prices for the 8GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage models at a later date.
The phone will be available in Gravity Black and Mystery White color options and will go on sale starting December 7 via Amazon and major retail outlets.
The 2024 version of the phone comes 6.6-inch panel with a 90Hz refresh rate that Tecno claims to be the first in this price bracket.
The device incorporates a Dynamic Port, which is basically a Dynamic Island replica, for enhanced notification functionalities, displayed on the front screen camera cutout.
For durability, the device is equipped with Panda screen protection, apt for this segment.
For processing needs, there is a Unisoc T606 chipset that offers configurations up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that can charge via a USB-C port. More impressively the Spark Go 2024 is the first smartphone in its category to feature DTS Dual Stereo speakers.
The device’s design includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with an anti-oil fingerprint sensor.
Tecno is calling the Tecno Spark Go (2024) “Bharat Ka Apna SPARK” (India’s own SPARK).
Interestingly, Transsion also owns Infinix which is due to launch its own entry-level offering on 8th December in the form of the Smart 8 HD.
