Tecno Spark 8P India launch confirmed, coming with a triple camera configuration

After launching the latest high-performance-driven POVA 3 in the Indian market, Tecno is gearing up for another hit launch. The brand is supposedly working to unveil its latest addition to the Spark series- Tecno Spark 8P. The brand has confirmed the launch via its Twitter account.

Tecno’s recent POVA 3 features a massive 7000mAh battery paired with a big 6.9-inch FHD+ display. The smartphone is also a great budget option in the mid-range. Similarly, the upcoming Tecno Spark 8P is expected to come under the budget range where it can actually fit every Indian pocket. Here’s all that we know about this upcoming latest mobile.

Tecno Spark 8P launch confirmed

Tecno has confirmed that it will launch the Tecno Spark 8P soon in India. The announcement comes via the company’s social media handle which has posted a video demonstrating a few specifications along with the design of the upcoming device. With the teaser going live today, we can speculate that the device could launch this month in India.

The renders and key specifications of the Tecno Spark 8P have leaked in past. The video posted by the official handle confirms that the smartphone will pack 7GB of virtual RAM technology which will borrow space from internal storage. The teaser further confirms that the device will sport a 50MP triple rear camera setup and will be available in glossy blue colour.

Tecno Spark 8P: Specifications (tipped)

There was already a leak earlier revealing the spec sheet of the upcoming Tecno Spark 8P. Reportedly, the Tecno Spark 8P will feature a 6.6-inch display with Full-HD+ resolution. The selfie camera will come protected in a waterdrop notch on the front end. Additionally, the teaser also reveals that the device will flaunt a plastic back with a refreshed dual-patterned design paired with a glossy camera island on the top.

Coming to the optics,  the device is confirmed to feature a 50MP primary lens in a triple camera set-up at the back. However, there’s been no official announcement for the other two sensors yet. We can speculate that these could be two 2MP sensors of depth and macro each. The phone could house an 8MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

The device is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G70 SoC. Furthermore, it will come which coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage under the hood. It might feature a 5,000mAh battery inside but there is no information on the charging capabilities. The Tecno Spark 8P is said to carry a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a DTS stereo speaker setup.

The device is said to be available in four colours – namely Turquoise Cyan, Atlantic Blue, Iris Purple, and Cocoa Gold.
