Tecno has just introduced the new Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G in India. One of the biggest highlights of this new model is its massive 8,000mAh battery, which is roughly 30 percent larger than its predecessor with a slimmer 7.42mm body.

The Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G starts at Rs. 27,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 256GB storage option is priced at Rs. 29,999. As part of launch offers, buyers can avail discounts of up to Rs. 3,000 through eligible bank offers and Rs. 1500 instant cashbank on all banks.
It is available in three colour options, which include Storm Titanium, Melting Silver and Mystic Purple.
The smartphone will go on sale starting February 20 at 12pm via Flipkart. Pre-bookings for the smartphone are now open after official unveiling.
Pova Curve 2 5G features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,364 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel offers a 93.18 percent screen-to-body ratio and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness. Protection is provided by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The RAM can be virtually expanded up to 16GB using unused storage space. Graphics performance is handled by the Arm G610 MC2 GPU. The dual-SIM (nano + nano) handset runs on Android 16-based HiOS 16.
In the camera department, the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G sports a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device is equipped with a 13-megapixel front camera.
Powering the device is a large 8,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. Tecno includes a 45W charger in the box.
According to the company, the handset can deliver up to 16.4 hours of video playback, 35.7 hours of music playback, 48.1 hours of talk time, and up to 1,133.1 hours of standby time on a single charge.
The phone measures 162.68 x 77.15 x 7.42mm and weighs 192g.
