After launching in the international market last year, Tecno is expected to launch Tecno Pova 5G in India next week. The company has already started teasing its arrival on social media platforms. However, exact date of the launch is yet to be confirmed by the Tecno.

It is being speculated that the model, to be launched in India, will have similar features as the international model. It indicates that the upcoming model will have a 6.95-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2460 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate support.
Talking about specifications, the model will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC which is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The other specifications include additional storage expansion using a dedicated microSD card slot.
The handset might have a 50MP triple rear camera system. The 50MP main lens will be assisted by, a 2MP secondary sensor, and another AI lens. For selfie and video lovers, the handset will offer a 16MP camera sensor, paired with a dual-LED flash. On the software front, it will run Android 11-based HiOS 8.0 and pack a 6,000 mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging.
The phone will have Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
Tecno Pova 5G is expected to be priced between Rs18,000 and Rs 20,000 in the country.
In January this year, the brand had introduced POVA NEO with a 6+128 GB memory, massive 6000 mAh battery, and perfect 6.82 HD+ display. The model is available at Rs 12999.
In another development, Tecno is offering POP 5, powered by 5000mAh powerful battery, 6.52 Dot-Notch HD+ Display, and 8MP AI dual rear camera. The model is available on Amazon for Rs 6799.
