Tecno appears to be expanding its slim smartphone lineup, as the upcoming Tecno Camon Slim 5G has surfaced on certification and benchmarking platforms. The device has been spotted on the EEC database and Geekbench, revealing key details about its hardware and performance. Here’s more on that.
According to the EEC certification listing, a Tecno smartphone carrying the model number CN6 has been registered under the name “Tecno Camon Slim 5G.” This confirms the branding and indicates that the device could launch soon, particularly in European markets.
In addition to the certification, the smartphone has also appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, shedding light on its internal specifications.
The Geekbench listing suggests that the Tecno Camon Slim 5G will be powered by a MediaTek chipset featuring an octa-core architecture. It includes four performance cores clocked at 2.40GHz and four efficiency cores running at 2.00GHz. The listing also confirms the presence of a Mali-G610 MC2 GPU.
Based on these details, the device is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset.
